AI Assistant Name

Give your AI assistant a custom name that reflects your organization or brand.

Branding Tip: Choose a name that's memorable and aligns with your company's identity. Keep it professional and easy to spell.

Custom Greeting Message

Customize the initial greeting message users see when starting a new conversation.

Examples:

  • "Hello! How can I help you today?"
  • "Welcome to our knowledge base! What would you like to know?"

  • "Guten Tag! Wie kann ich Ihnen helfen?"

What it affects:

  • First message users see in a new chat
  • Sets the tone for the conversation
  • Can be localized for different languages

Friendly Start: Make your greeting welcoming but concise. Include a clear call-to-action like "What can I help you with?"

Primary Language

Default: System language (e.g., "Deutsch")

Set the default language for AI responses. The AI will primarily communicate in this language.

Available Languages:

  • English
  • Deutsch (German)
  • EspaΓ±ol (Spanish)
  • FranΓ§ais (French)
  • And more...

What it affects:

  • Default language for all AI responses

Best Practices

Matching Personality to Audience

Know Your Users: Select a personality that matches your primary user base. If you have diverse users, "Friendly" is often a good middle ground.

For Technical Teams:

  • Choose Technical for developers and engineers
  • Provides detailed, precise information
  • Uses proper terminology

For General Staff:

  • Choose Friendly or Educational
  • Makes information accessible
  • Reduces intimidation

For Executives:

  • Choose Professional or Concise
  • Respects time constraints
  • Maintains formality

Testing Your Configuration

After changing personality settings:

  1. Test with real queries

    • Ask typical questions your users would ask
    • Verify the tone feels appropriate
    • Check response length and detail
  2. Get feedback from users

    • Ask a few team members to test
    • Collect opinions on the communication style
    • Adjust if needed
  3. Monitor over time

    • Track user satisfaction
    • Note any confusion or complaints
    • Refine settings based on feedback

Language Considerations

Primary Language Best Practices:

  • Set to your organization's main language
  • Ensure AI responses match your documentation language
  • Consider your international user base

Multilingual Teams:

  • Primary language sets the default
  • Users can still query in their preferred language
  • The AI adapts to the query language

Greeting Message Tips

Good Greeting Messages:

  • βœ… "Hello! I'm your DevOps assistant. How can I help you today?"
  • βœ… "Welcome! Ask me anything about our documentation."
  • βœ… "Hi there! Ready to help with your questions."

Avoid:

  • ❌ Too long and elaborate greetings
  • ❌ Unclear or confusing messages
  • ❌ Overly casual for formal environments
